Overview

The Federal Government Relations and Policy group is bipartisan and comprised of lawyers and professionals, many of whom practice exclusively on legislative and regulatory matters and have a deep understanding of policy, politics, and process.

A number of the group's professionals have worked on U.S. Senate Committees, elected leadership offices of the U.S. House of Representatives, and served as CEOs and senior lobbyists for major trade associations. They spend their time actively working with federal policymakers and senior personnel in federal agencies on behalf of clients to achieve measurable results.

The group also hires and manages local and state political counsel for clients and leads grass-tops, grass-roots, and issue advocacy campaigns, enabling them to help affect federal legislative and regulatory policy in Washington, D.C. from the state and local levels.

Engaged in political activities in both major U.S. parties, Calfee's Federal Government Relations and Policy team members support the political needs and goals of our clients in the nation's capital, across the U.S., and globally.

Calfee's Federal Government Relations and Policy team collaborates to deliver strategic advice and lobbying services to clients. This approach allows clients to benefit from the knowledge and experience of Washington veterans, who have more than 75 years of combined experience in shaping policy.

The Government Relations group represents Fortune 500 and 100 U.S. corporations, small and mid-sized companies, governmental agencies, and trade associations.
