Calfee’s client, advertising and media agency The Shipyard, has completed its acquisition of Fahlgren Mortine, an integrated communications company. The Shipyard will maintain the Fahlgren Mortine brand, which will have access to expanded media buying volume as well as creative and data analytics resources. The companies already share clients and industry expertise in tourism and economic development, financial services, consumer products, energy, retail, building products, logistics, technology and healthcare.

The combined company will encompass $350 million in billings with 400 professionals and 10 offices nationwide.

The Shipyard is a full-service independent advertising and media agency based in Columbus, Ohio, with several offices in California. Named by Adweek’s as one of “America’s Fastest Growing Agencies” and fueled by a mission of “Engineering Brand Love,” The Shipyard serves iconic brands in numerous industries.

Fahlgren Mortine is an integrated communications company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, with offices across Ohio and in Idaho, Colorado, Illinois, and New York. Fahlgren Mortine was twice named the “Best Mid-Sized Agency in America” by the Public Relations Society of America, most recently in 2023.
