Calfee client PAX Services Group, a Maryland-based company focused on re-roofing services to hospitals, schools, government buildings, and other high-end facilities that are subject to complex bid procedures and require operational specialization, recently announced its acquisition of San Antonio-based Cram Roofing, a re-roofing, maintenance, and emergency repair services company with a strong presence in both federal and commercial markets.
PAX is a portfolio company of New State Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm with more than a decade of experience partnering with entrepreneurially minded management teams. Pax has a presence across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Southwest U.S., and PAX recently opened new locations in Waco and San Antonio, Texas, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and West Palm Beach, Florida. The acquisition of Cram Roofing enables PAX to expand its reach geographically, especially in Texas, which has been identified as an exceptional growth market.
Calfee’s legal team was led by Firm Vice Chair and Corporate and Finance Group Partner Terrence F. (Terry) Doyle and Partner Robert J. (Rob) Ward and included Associate Attorney Margaret T. (Maggie) Ahern.
