On May 1, 2023, Calfee will be co-sponsoring an event hosted by the Association of Corporate Growth's Women in Transactions (ACG WiT) Cleveland networking group. The event will be held at FOUNT, a Cleveland-based, ethically sourced designer of American heritage goods. Ann Z. Seger, Vice Chair of Calfee's Corporate and Finance practice group, will co-chair the event.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour FOUNT's downtown leather studio with co-founder Jackie Wachter and enjoy an evening of wine, light appetizers, and networking. In addition, attendees will be invited to try their hand at making a small leather wallet.
The event will feature a raffle of one of FOUNT’s newest bags, the “Plentiful” and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to College Now Greater Cleveland.
ACG WiT is a networking group comprised of women who are active contributors to the deal transaction process, including private equity investors, strategic acquirers, lenders, investment bankers, consultants, transaction attorneys and accountants.
