Arthur C. Hall III, Firm Administrative Partner and Partner-In-Charge of Calfee’s Cleveland office, has been selected for Leadership Cleveland’s Class of 2021. As a member and former Co-Chair of the firm's Corporate and Capital Markets practice group, Art counsels publicly and closely held corporations on securities, capital markets and general corporate issues that affect their businesses.
Art has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Ohio in Corporate/M&A by Chambers USA 2020. He also has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© (2016-2020) in the areas of Securities/Capital Markets Law and Securities Regulation and named Best Lawyers' Securities Regulation “Lawyer of the Year” in Cleveland for 2019.
Art serves on the Board of Directors of Business Volunteers Unlimited and on the Boards of Trustees of Great Lakes Theater and The City Mission. He is a Cabinet Member of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland's Capital Campaign. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his M.B.A. from Duke University. He earned his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College.
Leadership Cleveland is a dynamic, 10-month program representative of a diverse group of senior-level leaders from across a wide variety of organizations representing the public, private and nonprofit sectors. The program empowers these leaders with knowledge, skills and relationships to advance and deepen their community impact and explore how "collaborative leadership is critical to Northeast Ohio's current and future success," stated the Cleveland Leadership Center in a news release.
The 68 members of the Class of 2021 were chosen for participation based on highly selective criteria including a significant level of volunteer leadership in the community and being a recognized and established senior-level leader within their profession.
