Laura C. McBride

Laura brings a wealth of experience and a depth of legal acumen in managing legal affairs for business entities. In her previous roles, Laura served as a trusted advisor to leadership teams in times of crisis, stabilization, and growth. She assists businesses in navigating legal challenges, aligning mission/vision and operations, and facilitating strategy. Her experience spans corporate and finance, contracting, regulation and compliance, human resources and labor relations, risk management, public law, and litigation, with a particular focus in and knowledge of health care law.

She recently served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at The MetroHealth System, where she spent 10 years in various legal roles.

Prior to joining MetroHealth, Laura served as a Partner at a Cleveland law firm and served as an Associate Attorney at Calfee for more than seven years.

Prior to attending law school, Laura served as a Program Analyst with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office of Inspector General, where she analyzed HHS programs and policies.
