Calfee Partner Matthew M. Mendoza moderated a panel discussion at the ABA Forum's Fall Conference held September 3-5, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky. The conference brought together industry professionals, legal experts and practitioners for a detailed exploration of construction contracts.
Matt moderated a panel that included three fellow construction lawyers to discuss clauses that may seem sound during the front-end negotiations but don't always translate to a win from a practical litigation perspective. The panel, "Cashing Your Bets: Litigators' Perspectives on Contract Provisions" included William G. Geisen with Stites & Harbison (Kentucky), Kristine A. Kubes of Kubes Law Office (Minnesota) and A. Robert Ruesch with Verrill Dana (Maine).
