Phillip T. Kelly

Phil represents clients in complex commercial disputes. He is skilled in litigation strategy, successfully advocating on behalf of clients in both trial and appellate courts. His experience includes a wide variety of civil matters such as breach of contract, tort claims, construction disputes, insurance coverage, among others.

Prior to joining Calfee in 2026, Phil worked as an Associate Attorney at a civil litigation defense law firm in Ohio and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Constitutional Offices Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Phil received his Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law (UDSL). While attending law school, Phil was a Judicial Extern with the Ohio Second District Court of Appeals. He also served as a Staff Writer on UDSL’s Law Review and as an Associate Justice of Intramural Competitions on UDSL Moot Court Board.
