Steve Day Presents on Art Valuation Rules at Cowan’s Auctions

Steven W. Day, Partner in the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice and a member of the firm’s Entertainment, Media and the Arts group, will be presenting at Cowan’s Auctions, Cleveland on Thursday, February 18th at 6:00 p.m.  Steve will be discussing tax rules related to the valuation of works of art and obtaining qualified appraisals.  This presentation is part of a series provided by the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, a committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.   Cowan’s Auctions is the auction house of Wes Cowan (History Detectives, Antiques Roadshow), a renowned dealer and expert in historic memorabilia.
