Brandon E. Brown, Associate Attorney with Calfee's Litigation practice group, has been appointed by Cleveland, Ohio Mayor Justin Bibb to serve on the City of Cleveland Civilian Police Review Board (CPRB).
Brandon will serve a four-year term on the board. The CPRB is comprised of nine members; the Mayor appoints five members, and the City Council appoints the remaining four members. In an effort to be representative of all of Cleveland’s diverse communities, each of the police districts is represented by at least one member who resides in that district. The CPRB can receive, cause investigation of, review, and recommend resolutions for non-criminal administrative complainants against Cleveland Division of Police (CDP) personnel.
