Jaclyn R. Payto

Jacki assists in brand clearance research and analysis and in domestic trademark prosecution. This work includes preparing and filing key prosecution documents, from new U.S. trademark applications to post-filing communications with the USPTO. Additionally, she drafts responses to notices from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Jacki assists in foreign trademark prosecution, including managing foreign associates regarding foreign trademark applications and/or registrations, and she regularly corresponds with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their trademark matters. She also is responsible for managing large, global trademark portfolios for multiple firm clients.

Previously, Jacki worked as an Annuities Docket Specialist where she assisted the Annuities Paralegal. She was responsible for docketing functions regarding annuities for all client and matter files, and she assisted with docketing functions for foreign and domestic patent, trademark and copyright matters in the Intellectual Property practice group as well.

 Jacki joined Calfee in 2014.
