Calfee, Halter and Griswold Welcomes New Employee Benefits Associate

CLEVELAND, May 7, 2018 – Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP recently announced that Zachary J. LaFleur has joined the firm as an Associate in its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation group. 

In his employee benefits practice, LaFleur researches and analyzes complex executive compensation-plan related questions and counsels employers on administrative and compliance matters related to their employee benefits plans.

LaFleur also has counseled clients on complex tax and other compliance issues both as outside general counsel and in connection with corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Outside of the office, LaFleur is actively engaged in the Cleveland community. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, where he participates in the “3Rs” program. LaFleur is also a member of Business Volunteers Unlimited’s “Young Ambassadors” program.

Prior to joining Calfee, LaFleur was an associate at a Cleveland-based law firm.

LaFleur earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2016 and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University in 2013. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
