Sarah earned her J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2018. While attending law school, Sarah interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Federal Trade Commission, the Case Western Law School Marketing Department, and was a Summer Associate with Calfee.
During an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Sarah worked on civil defense cases and with financial litigation unit attorneys, where she focused on research, drafting discovery responses, wrote on tort issues and assisted with restitution orders and fraud investigations.
During a Legal Internship with the Federal Trade Commission, Sarah was responsible for researching and drafting legal procedural memoranda, researching legal issues related to the Commission and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and performing document review for e-discovery. As a Marketing Intern for the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Sarah developed strategies and created content to attract prospective students while also managing the school’s social media accounts. As a Summer Associate at Calfee, Sarah researched and drafted memoranda regarding non-profit tax, implied warranty, fiduciary duties, stock transfer restrictions, jury demands, and force majeure.
Sarah earned her BSBA in Marketing Management and her BBA in eMarketing and Advertising, cum laude, from the University of Akron in 2011.
Before attending law school, Sarah worked at Credit First National Association, a division of Bridgestone Retail Operations as a Brand & Compliance Coordinator, where she worked with her team to manage corporate brand guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance for all advertising. Sarah managed internal compliance audits of the Marketing Department. She also served as the Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors.
She was a Summer Associate with Calfee in 2017 before joining as an Associate in 2018.
