Overview
Before becoming an attorney, Sara spent five years as an environmental engineer. She was responsible for performing environmental due diligence site assessments for oil and gas asset acquisitions, preparing and submitting air permits for oil and gas facilities and preparing Phase I environmental assessment reports.
Sara earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she was a recipient of the Emerging Scholar Award, the Excellence in Intellectual Property Law Award, and a member of the American Constitution Society and Dispute Resolution and Youth.
Sara earned her B.S. in Environmental Systems Engineering from Penn State University where she was an undergraduate research assistant for the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department. She was responsible for performing lab testing, data analysis, DNA extraction and field sampling.
Sara was a Summer Associate with Calfee before joining as an Associate in 2019.
