Meghan brings her experience as a corporate communications leader for large companies and organizations such as The Kroger Co., Delta Air Lines and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, to her role as an efficient and effective problem-solver for clients.
Senior executives and their leadership teams rely on Meghan for sharp, timely counsel that supports their business objectives. Meghan and her team anticipate, develop and execute comprehensive communications and public affairs programs for clients, including publicly-traded companies, government entities and privately-held businesses. She has extensive experience in issue management, media relations and government affairs. The CSS team has helped clients successfully navigate sensitive issues including mergers, acquisitions, labor relations and workplace injuries.
Meghan and her team write for executives and their teams on-demand and on deadline. Their communications range from holding statements for media inquiries to messages for employee groups and keynote addresses for leaders. They also develop detailed emergency response plans for a variety of scenarios and are called on to support clients in implementing them when events in the life of a company – positive or negative – create an acute need to communicate.
Prior to joining Calfee Strategic Solutions, Meghan led media relations for The Kroger Co., Delta Air Lines and Comair Airlines. She also served as Vice President of External Affairs for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). She started her career as a business reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, where she covered Fortune 500 companies.
Meghan is active in community affairs in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. She is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 36.
