Meg and her team develop and execute comprehensive communications and public affairs programs for clients, including Fortune 500 companies, government entities and privately held businesses. She has extensive experience in aviation-related issues and opportunities, as well as corporate communications, issue management, government affairs and media relations.
Since joining Calfee, Meg has developed an expertise in advising gaming clients on sensitive public relations issues and opportunities as well as employee and labor relations communications.
Meg has helped clients successfully develop and complete regional and national initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, labor relations and workforce development issues. She navigates sensitive issues that require multi-state and government collaboration.
Before joining Calfee Strategic Solutions in 2012, Meg served as Vice President of External Affairs for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. She led media relations for Delta Air Lines and directed corporate communication, crisis response, and government relations at Comair Airlines.
Meg’s experience also includes serving as the chief spokesperson for The Kroger Co., where she led external communications for the supermarket retailer and its family of companies.
She started her career as a business reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, where she covered Fortune 500 companies and wrote a weekly column on local businesses.
Meg is active in community affairs in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. She serves on the board of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence in Kentucky, which is recognized nationally as a leader in education reform. Meg is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 36.
