Joelle focuses her practice on assisting public company clients with federal securities law compliance and preparing various Securities and Exchange Commission filings, including Form 10-Ks, Form 10-Qs, Form 8-Ks, and proxy statements. She assists clients in drafting and preparing registrations statements for public offerings on the NYSE and the NASDAQ.
She also advises both publicly and privately held business in various commercial finance transactions. Her experience also includes working with large public companies and private equity firms in M&A matters.
During law school, Joelle was an active member of the Moot Court Team and Development Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review. She also served as a Peer Tutor in the areas of Corporations, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Property.
Joelle worked as a Summer Associate at Calfee in 2019 and joined Calfee as an Associate in 2020. Prior to joining Calfee, Joelle served as a law clerk with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office Civil Division and with a white-collar law firm in Cleveland. She also worked as a legislative intern for the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.
