In addition to a wealth of experience using sophisticated and creative tax and planning strategies such as GRATs, QPRTs, dynasty trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, decanting and other techniques for the modification of irrevocable trusts, Fran brings to the practice a deep satisfaction in working closely with clients and their families, serving as a trusted counselor and adviser.
Fran is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has been a frequent speaker, both locally and nationally, on a variety of topics relating to the estate and generation skipping tax.
She has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2020 in Band 3 for Ohio: Private Wealth Law. Chambers HNW is the only independent directory specifically aimed at the private wealth market that ranks law firms according to their private client disciplines.
