In addition to a wealth of experience using sophisticated and creative tax and planning strategies such as GRATs, QPRTs, dynasty trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, decanting and other techniques for the modification of irrevocable trusts, she brings to the practice a deep satisfaction in working closely with clients and their families, serving as a trusted counselor and adviser.

Fran is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has been a frequent speaker, both locally and nationally, on a variety of topics relating to the estate and generation skipping tax.

Fran has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© (2016-2020) in the area of Trusts and Estates.

She is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, where she sits on the Section Council for the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section and for which she served as co-Chair for the 2018 Marvin R. Pliskin Advance Probate and Estate Planning Seminar.
