Overview

As a Paralegal in the Public Law practice group, Christine assists attorneys who serve as bond counsel, borrower counsel, credit enhancement provider counsel and underwriter counsel. She works with municipal and county advisors, investment banks and various financial institutions to secure financing for public, private and governmental improvements. A number of these matters include general obligation financing, water and sewer system revenue financing, lease revenue financing, healthcare financing, nonprofit college and university financing matters, cultural facility projects, and economic development projects.

As a Paralegal in the Business Restructuring and Insolvency practice group, Christine’s responsibilities include drafting and filing various pleadings, in particular, retention and fee applications, pleadings associated with preference actions, objections as well as responses to objections. 

Prior to joining Calfee in 2007, Christine was a Corporate Bankruptcy Paralegal with McDonald Hopkins LLC focusing on Creditors’ Rights and Business Restructuring. She gained experience working with creditors while in the bankruptcy and collection departments of financial institutions such as PNC and Chase Manhattan Mortgage Company. She also has several years of experience representing debtors in bankruptcy proceedings.
