Calfee Hosted an Event of The Entrepreneurship Institute

Calfee was proud to host The Presidents’ Forum Breakfast Series of The Entrepreneurship Institute on the morning of Friday, December 2. The event included a panel on the topic of “Attracting and Retaining Talent through an Engaged Workforce.” Panelists included: Dave Clifford, President of Avantegrity LLC; Jay Mellon, CEO of AtNetPlus; LaToya Smith, Talent Acquisition Manager at Fifth Third; and Todd F. Palmer, partner in Calfee’s Labor and Employment group. The panel was moderated by Dustin Klein, the COO and Publisher of Smart Business. At Calfee, Todd represents and advises employers on all aspects of Labor & Employment law. He routinely counsels clients on strategies to comply with the ever-expanding array of laws and regulations affecting the employer-employee relationship. Todd has successfully handled proceedings for his clients before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and other federal and state administrative agencies, and federal and state courts.
