Calfee’s Government Relations Group Welcomes Michael Bowen

Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP (Calfee) is pleased to announce Michael W. Bowen has joined the firm as an Associate in its Government Relations and Legislation group.

Bringing nearly a decade of political experience, Bowen has directed or help direct local, presidential and county-wide ballot campaigns, including serving as the campaign manager for the re-election of Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson to an unprecedented fourth-term. He will use that experience to help clients develop legislative strategies and support programs on issues that affect and impact their particular business.

Prior to joining Calfee, Bowen was an attorney with the Government Relations and Litigation practice groups at the law firm of Taft Stettinius & Hollister.

Bowen earned his B.A. in history from Miami University and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he served as an editor of the Cleveland State Law Review and a member of the Fredrick Douglass Moot Court team.
