Position: Online Marketing Specialist

Position Description
As part of the Marketing and Client Services (MCS) area of the firm, this position will be responsible for updating and maintaining online internal and external functionality and content in conjunction with the initiatives and goals of the marketing department and firm. The successful candidate will be a personable, creative, self-motivated professional, committed to delivering quality work in a collaborative team environment. The highest attention to detail and quality, as well as professionalism and poise under pressure are required for this position.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Update and maintain website content and overall appearance.

Compose and post news releases and firm information on website and intranet.

Format First Alerts, invites and other firm communication for email distribution.

Create and edit video.

Coordinate with internal IT Department for intranet updates.

Work with members of MCS and outside vendors to develop and maintain a creative, functional and competitive website.

Work with MCS team and outside vendors to develop and execute an effective SEO strategy for the firm.

Work with MCS team to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.

Develop and implement procedures for collecting and reporting site data, including monthly reporting. Monitor trends, changes and draw connections between on-line and off-line marketing efforts.

Track problems with website and report them to outside vendor; troubleshoot website problems whenever possible.

Maintain marketing materials distribution across all firm interactive platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and use this knowledge to inform online strategy and implementation.

Assist with database management, as it pertains to online marketing efforts.
Qualifications:

1-2 years of related experience.

Bachelor degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field preferred.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web content tools.

Working knowledge of website content management systems.

Working knowledge of video and video best practices.

Strong attention to details.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet required deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communications.

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and firm management.

Self-motivated with high level of initiative and desire to deliver accurate work product.
