STEVE is an associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. His practice focuses on executive compensation matters, such as designing and drafting executive employment agreements, equity-based incentive programs, cash bonus programs and non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements. Steve also advises public and private clients on the tax and securities issues related to these arrangements. In addition, Steve assists clients with employee benefits and executive compensation matters involved in corporate mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.
Steve is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is involved with its Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts program. He is also involved in providing pro bono legal services through the Legal Aid Society.
Before joining Calfee, Steve was an associate attorney with Jones Day from 2007 to 2011.
