Senior Counsel
STEVE practices general corporate law, with additional emphasis in the areas of commercial finance and real estate law.  He counsels publicly and privately-held companies on real estate acquisitions, development, financings and leasing, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, purchase and sale, and other general contracting issues.
 
Steve’s representative experience includes commercial and real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing related documentation, due diligence, commercial closings and conducting legal research on behalf of clients.
 
Steve is a member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations.  He brings a diverse business experience to his law practice, having worked as a systems analyst for Mount Carmel Health System from 1992 to 1994 and as a computer system support representative for Cott Systems from 1989 to 1991.  Steve was an attorney with Shuler, Plank, Morgan & Brahm L.P.A. from 1997 to 2001 before joining Calfee in 2001.
