Ohio’s CAT Dramatically Changes Tax Reporting for Ohio Businesses

Ohio's Commercial Activity Tax (CAT), a tax assessed for the privilege of doing business in Ohio, dramatically changed Ohio tax reporting when it went into effect July 1, 2005.  Individuals and businesses need to look closely at this new legislation and plan implementation.
