DAVE provides business and transactional counsel to publicly and privately-held clients.  His practice is transaction-focused, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; venture capital; investment banking and other financing transactions; and joint ventures and strategic alliances.  Dave also advises business organizations on governance, succession and general commercial matters.

In addition to established business organizations, Dave has successfully represented and aided entrepreneurs in search of acquisition opportunities.   He is the sponsor counsel for a Weatherhead-affiliated organization of entrepreneurial-minded M.B.A.s and has represented clients in the healthcare, oil and gas and entertainment industries.

Dave began his tenure with Calfee in 1991.  He became a partner in 2001.
