DENEEN focuses her practice in the Litigation and White Collar Crime Groups.  She is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully defended Calfee clients from premises, product liability, intentional tort, landlord-tenant and general commercial claims.  In addition, she has defended clients on subrogation claims related to personal injury and property damage.

Deneen is licensed in Ohio and Illinois.  She stays active in her profession as a member of the Ohio, Cleveland Metropolitan, Chicago and Federal Bar Associations.  In addition, Deneen regularly defends clients on behalf of Cleveland’s Legal Aid Society.  She is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Justinian Forum. 

Before joining Calfee, she was an associate at Baughman & Associates and part of the team that served as toxic tort national counsel for one of the largest corporations in the world.  She next worked at Matushek, Nilles and Sinars LLC in Chicago as a litigation associate before joining Calfee in 2005.
