CHRIS counsels private equity funds on a range of matters, including fund formations, portfolio investments, upper-tier management arrangements and compliance with securities laws.
He represents institutional investors as they negotiate the terms of side letters and operating agreements of private equity and hedge funds. Chris also provides advice to private and publicly-traded companies and underwriters regarding offerings, periodic reporting obligations and executive compensation matters.
Chris has been published in Euromoney, Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, ABA Antitrust Journal and the Federal Trade Commission Practice Manual.
Prior to working at Calfee, he worked at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in New York City, where he represented private equity funds and investors, including institutional and Fortune 500 pension fund investors. Chris joined Calfee in 2009.
